Studio Guidelines and Rental Policy
Welcome to Red Clay Dance Company’s home! Please carefully review our studio guidelines and rental policies below.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Red Clay Dance Center hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9am–5pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 9am–8pm
Saturday: 9am–2pm
Hours may vary during summer and holidays.
Access to the building is permitted strictly within operating hours. Renters must promptly vacate studios at the end of booked times and remove all personal items.
STUDIO COVID-19 BEST PRACTICE GUIDELINES
Studio I: Maximum 28 persons
Studio II (hardwood floor): Maximum 18 persons
Masks are optional but recommended when necessary.
Maintain social distancing whenever possible.
Store outer garments in provided cubbies; rehearsal clothing only in studios.
Hand sanitizer stations are available and encouraged.
The entire facility is disinfected daily using 24-hour antibacterial cleaning products.
STUDIOS ACCESS AND PROTOCOLS
Rentals include access to the lobby area, the specific studio rented (Studio I or II), and the two restrooms at the hall’s end.
Smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaping are strictly prohibited.
Open flames (candles, incense, oil diffusers) are not permitted.
Altering the facility by using nails, tacks, screws, tape, or paint on walls, ceilings, or floors is strictly prohibited.
Front desk staff is available to assist with audio equipment and temperature controls. Notify them promptly of any issues.
Street shoes, hard-soled shoes, food, and beverages (except bottled water) are prohibited. Dance shoes such as jazz shoes or ballet slippers are allowed; tap shoes and sneakers are permitted only in Studio II.
Rosin use on the marley flooring is strictly prohibited and may incur a penalty fine.
Audio levels must remain moderate to prevent disturbances. Excessive noise may result in future rental restrictions.
Live music and percussion instruments require prior approval.
Renters must remove all personal belongings at the end of the rental period. Items left behind will be discarded.
Red Clay Dance Company reserves the right to seek compensation for any damage to the studios or audio equipment during rental periods.
SCHEDULING YOUR STUDIO TIME
Submit an inquiry form detailing your preferred dates, times, and rental specifics. Our Operations team typically responds within 1–2 business days.
PAYMENT POLICIES
Payment in full is required before each rental. No exceptions. Studio access will only be granted upon full payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We enforce a 14-day cancellation policy for most rehearsal bookings unless otherwise stated in your rental agreement. Renters are responsible for payment if cancellations after the deadline cannot be re-booked. To cancel after the deadline, please contact the front desk immediately by phone or email.
