CLASS POLICIES

Updated for the 2025 Season

At Red Clay Dance Company, we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and high-quality experience for all participants in our adult and youth classes. Please review the following policies before attending class.

Refund & Transfer Policy

  • All class purchases are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Transfers more than 4 hours before class

    • You must call to cancel at least 4 hours before the scheduled class start time

    • You may request one transfer per month

    • Transfers must be to the same class within the same calendar month

    Cancellations within 4 hours of class

    • If you cancel within 4 hours of class, the class will be considered a late cancellation

    • A one-time transfer may be approved at the discretion of Red Clay Dance Company

    • A $10 cancellation fee will apply

    • The cancellation fee must be paid at the time of cancellation for the transfer to be honored

    No-shows

    • If you do not call to cancel, the class is forfeited with no transfer or credit

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time with a structured warm-up to ensure safety.

  • Participants arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to join class.

Class Card Policy

Class cards may be purchased online or in person at Red Clay Dance Center.

  • To use a class card for in-person class registration, individuals must provide their Class Card Code to the front desk at the time of purchase.

  • Class Card Codes are emailed immediately after purchase.

  • If a valid code is not provided, the class card cannot be used to register for a class in person.

Class Safety Procedures

To maintain a safe and organized environment for all participants:

  • Studio occupancy will not exceed the capacity limits set by Red Clay Dance Company.

  • Only registered participants may enter the studio space during class time.

  • Restroom facilities are limited to one person at a time.

  • Red Clay Dance Company reserves the right to dismiss anyone whose behavior compromises the safety or respect of others.

Lost & Found

Red Clay Dance Company is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Any found items should be turned in to the front desk.

  • To inquire about a lost item, please call 773-624-8411.

Parking

  • Free street parking is available on 63rd Street and surrounding side streets all day.
