DANCE STUDIO RENTAL IN CHICAGO

• RED CLAY DANCE COMPANY is a No Smoking facility. Cigarettes, e-Cigarettes & Vaping is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

• The use of open flames, including candles, incense, or oil diffusers is PROHIBITED.

• RED CLAY DANCE COMPANY facility may not be altered or tampered. No nails, tacks, screws, tape or paint may be used on walls, ceilings or floors.

• Front desk staff is available to assist with issues pertaining to audio equipment and temperature control. Please notify the front desk of any issues.

• Street shoes or hard-soled shoes, food and beverages (excluding bottled water) are strictly prohibited in the studios at all times. Dance shoes (i.e., jazz shoes, ballet slippers or shoes not worn in off the street) are permissible. Tap shoes & Sneakers are only allowed in Studio II.

• The use of rosin on the studios’ marley is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and may be subject to a penalty fine.

• Renters must promptly exit studios at the end of their booking.

• Sound levels from audio equipment must not exceed moderate levels to prevent disrupting any activity in the adjacent studio or office spaces. RED CLAY DANCE COMPANY may PROHIBIT artists from renting studio space if found disruptive.

• No outside sounds system or equipment allowed in the studios.

• Live music including percussion instruments are allowed in the studios with permission.

• ALL personal belongings must be removed from the studio at the end of studio use. Any items left behind will be discarded at the end of the day.

Pricing varies by rental type. Individual studio rentals can be booked online and require a 2-hour minimum. Group rentals and event rentals are quoted based on the type of rental, date, duration, space needs, and setup requirements.

Red Clay Dance Center is located at 808 E. 63rd Street, Chicago, IL 60637, in Woodlawn on Chicago’s South Side.

Free onsite parking lot. Free street parking is available on 63rd Street and surrounding side streets.

Red Clay Dance Center is located near the CTA Green Line’s Cottage Grove station at 63rd and Cottage Grove. Nearby CTA bus routes include #4 Cottage Grove, #63 63rd, #X4 Cottage Grove Express, and #N4 Cottage Grove.

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities.

Should it be necessary for the renter to cancel their dates after an agreement has been signed, rental fees may be refunded only if cancelation is made in writing and received in our office at least 30 days prior to rental. Should cancellation be made after such time, refunds will be made according to the following cancelation fee schedule: 30 days or more, 100%; 15-29 days, 50%; 0-14 days 0%.
