Red Clay Dance Company is proud to return to Chicago LIVE!, the Midwest's largest free performing arts festival, joining more than 100 arts organizations in a citywide celebration of Chicago's creative community.
On Saturday, September 19 our award-winning ensemble will perform an excerpt of Written on the Flesh by Founder and Artistic Director Vershawn Sanders-Ward, bringing Red Clay's signature Afro-contemporary movement and Artivism in Motion to the lakefront.
Presented at Navy Pier, Chicago LIVE! transforms the city's iconic lakefront into a vibrant showcase of music, dance, theater, and multidisciplinary performance, offering audiences the opportunity to experience the extraordinary breadth of Chicago's artistic landscape.
