In October 2024, Red Clay Dance Company returned to the Logan Center stage with Turning Points, a Fall concert series featuring Afro-contemporary works by Lela Aisha Jones, Amansu Eason, and Artistic Director Vershawn Sanders-Ward.

On March 14–16, 2024, Red Clay Dance Company presented its landmark performances at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance as part of La Femme Dance Festival — a three-day celebration of women choreographers of the Black/African Diaspora, featuring legendary choreographer Fatima Robinson and multiple world premieres.

On July 23, 2023, Red Clay Dance Company hosted Mardi Gras in July!, a free family-friendly street parade and celebration marking the launch of its 15FORWARD Anniversary Season, featuring community activities, local partnerships, and news coverage highlighting the event.

Red Clay Dance Company closed its 14th season in June 2023 with the world premiere of Rest. Rise. Move. Nourish. Heal., a site-responsive dance ritual by Vershawn Sanders‑Ward and collaborators at Art on the Farm. The work, supported by a 2021 National Dance Project award, reclaimed ancestral traditions through movement and healing.

In 2022, Red Clay Dance Company facilitated Creating Fertile Grounds for Healing, a series of community workshops centered on healing, liberation, and collective care through movement.

Red Clay Dance Company launches In The Making, a new membership program designed to support emerging dance artists with access, resources, and creative community.

In December 2021, Red Clay Dance Company engages in The Harvest, a community-centered ritual connecting land, labor, and healing as part of the creation of Rest. Rise. Move. Nourish. Heal.

In Fall 2021, Red Clay Dance Company is featured in the Chicago Reader Fall Arts Preview, highlighting the company’s vision for its new Woodlawn space and its commitment to building a community-centered home for Artivism on Chicago’s South Side.

In late August 2021, Red Clay Dance Company celebrated the opening of its Woodlawn Center, establishing a permanent home for Artivism, community engagement, and dance education on Chicago’s South Side.

On May 22, 2021, Red Clay Dance Company returned to the stage with Visions & Voices, a virtual concert featuring three world premieres and reimagining a cancelled 2020 performance for digital audiences.
